THE OVERLORD

Made in approximately half a day for the 48-hour QuickDraw Challenged hosted by the MINI Cardiff Animation Festival.

The character and environment designs were drawn by me. Eliot Cseh animated, comped, and made the animatic. Jed Robertson provided sound design and music.

Ollie

Using a tutorial by specialist Ben Marriott, I created this looping animation to resemble a stop-motion style paper cutout in After Effects.

Possum

In July 2018, I was selected to attend a workshop in CelAction by software creator, Andy Blazkell. We were tutored over 5 days in first designing, then rigging, and eventually animating a character of our own.

This is the culmination of said crash-course!

HopeMalawi

One university module required that we collaborate with a charity to produce an infographic for them in under a minute.

The aim was to summarise their cause, activity, and goals. It helped that the founders of HopeMalawi were even able to provide a piece of music by a musician from Nkhata Bay.
